About Us
Carrot Top Gardens is a small design/build company based in Vancouver, BC. owned and operated by Stephen Stewart. Since 2005, Stephen and his team have designed and built more than 65 gardens in and around the Vancouver area including Bowen Island and the North Shore with a particular fondness for working with our neighbours in East Vancouver.
Stephen Stewart
Stephen has worked in the landscape industry for over 30 years with a background in music and a Certificate in Garden Design from the University of British Columbia. In 2003 Stephen ended a career as a touring musician and began to focus on the design/build area of the landscape industry with a shift towards primarily design work in 2012.
Stephen brings an artistic understanding of form, structure and space to his design work along with the experience of years constructing gardens and a vast knowledge of plants.
Emily Bryant flower arrangement
Emily has been working in the landscape industry and flower arranging industry for over 7 years and has been known to leave an arrangement on a client’s doorstep! Currently enrolled in the Landscape Design Certificate program with the University of Guelph, we look forward to her adding new skills to her impressive talent in plant design.
